Mackey Const Co has been at our current location, serving water users of southern Colorado for over 80 years. Founded and operated by the Mackey family, who owned it until 2019 when it was purchased by David W. Toews. David has lived in Colorado since 2003 and is experienced in agriculture, farming, and ranching. Before coming to Colorado, David worked for his father in the family business operating an open pit mine in Southwestern British Columbia.
Mackey Const Co specializes in surface water control, diversion, and measurement using structures fabricated at our shop in Monte Vista. We provide equipment for the installation of the structures, as well as earth moving and excavation for all types of construction. We are a local dealer for Contech corrugated metal pipe and stock sections of pipe from 8 inches up to 48 inches in diameter. We attempt to keep a well stocked inventory for our customers, and we can custom order or build to suite.
